Luster Impresses at National Camp

Khalil Luster-2022 PG Lima
Apparently, Khalil Luster (5'1/PG/2022/Lima) is turning heads at the John Lucas International Middle School Combine in Houston, TX.  According to his camp coach, Luster is demonstrating his full array of skills, including: vision, passing, ball handling, playing making, shooting and defending.  Even in a camp type environment, Luster is running his team like a true floor general, getting other players involved, communicating and defending at a high level. Luster’s performance is getting attention from camp staff and scouting services there to cover the event.  Of course we have covered Luster frequently over the past several years and we’ve seen him excel at a high level at our Buckeye Prep Elite Showcases and tournaments, so we know this kid can ball. He may be diminutive, but Luster has all the tools necessary to play at the D-I level.  We plan to continue to follow Luster’s development going forward.
