All this week
we have been profiling Darryl Peterson’s All-Ohio Phenom program. Today, we look at the resume of Coach Dave
Thompson’s 2026 team, who has an impressive 16-4 overall record to date. Out of
the 4 tournaments the 3rd grade team has entered so far, All-Ohio
Phenom has won 2 (Solon Cage Classic & March Madness); lost in the Final 4
of the Dru Joyce Shooting Stars Classic; and lost in the quarterfinals of the
Nike Grassroots tourney. We are not
ranking the 2026 class just yet, but we have to believe Thompson’s team is one
of the best in the state. We will get our first look at this team at our Summer Showdown tournament June 16-18th.
