More Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase Tweets (@BuckeyePrep)

Lawson, McCoy, Henlon, Wakeel, Graves & Burroughs
-Jaylan Rigdon (5'5"/PG/2024/Maysville, KY) had a big weekend at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase; so much so, he made the final all-star game on Sunday. Great court vision and unselfish best describes what we saw!


-Joseph Boddie (5'0"/PG/2024/Columbus) logged in yet another all-star caliber performance at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase. Boddie is aggressive, scrappy and one of Ohio's best!

-Jarred McCoy (6'1"/WF/2024/Rochester Hills, MI) not only made the all-star game, but he was selected as a MVP! McCoy is a skilled big that can also block shots at a high level. A good looking prospect going forward!

-Elijah Hendrix (5'4"/PG/2024/Lansing, MI) attended his first Buckeye Prep- Elite Showcase and played his way into the final all-star game on Sunday. Hendrix was described as a "Playmaker and Ball Handler."

Sharod Barnes (5'5"/PG/2024/Ypsilanti, MI) was another Michigan kid who came down to the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase and blew up! His high IQ, smooth handle and ability to score the rock got him a nod for the all-star game!

Karl Burroughs (5'3"/PG/2024/Toledo) has had a rep for years, and his play at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase backed that up.  His ability to hit the 3-ball was on full display when he hit 5 treys in one game.  An all-star selection was his award!

- Jason Henlon (5'0"/PG/2025/Sandusky) was not on are rader before the most recent Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase, but his all-star game and MVP caliber performance has us looking closer. Henlon was described has tough & hardnosed by his coach!

-Jordan Johnson (4’9”/PG/2025/Cleveland Heights) was only a 6thgrader, but he played well enough at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase that he made the all-star game. Johnson’s motor was noted by his coach.

-Jahleel Wakeel (4’11”/SG/2025/Columbus) is a perennial all-star at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase. Wakeel is a vocal leader with great court vision and a high Basketball IQ.  Was selected as “Best Attitude” on his team. One of the top kids in Columbus and the state!

-Stewart Hamilton (5’8”/WF/2024/Canton) was another unknow to the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase who burst onto the statewide scene with an all-star performance.   Hamilton has good size, is skilled, and was selected as his team’s “top Prospect.”

-Elijah Graves (5’6”/WF/2024/Cincinnati) excelled at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase to the tune of an all-star game selection. Graves has a good motor, great attitude and plays unselfish basketball.  He was also selected as “Best Defender on his team. We are watching!!

-Arness Lawson (2025/PG/Columbus) continues to standout out at Buckeye Prep Elite Showcases, and always makes the all-star games even when playing against older kids! Lawson is highly skilled, dynamic, with a high basketball IQ.  He is also a good leader and floor general.

-Jerimiah Hughes (4’10”/PG/2024/Cincinnati) demonstrated good all-around skills and motor at the recent Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase. For his efforts, Hughes was selected to the final all-star game on Sunday.
