Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase Tweets (@buckeyeprep)

Williams, Foster, Bruner, Williams, Bower &  Cercone

-Durral Brooks (5'8"/PG/2024/Grands Rapids, MI) played in the 2023 Ohio vs Michigan all-star game at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase and took home MVP honors. Very athletic and sound fundamentally is what we saw.  Another good-looking prospect!

-Kamryn Grant (5'9"/WF/2025/Columbus) logged in another solid performance at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase over the weekend. We love her length and aggression to the cup.  A solid prospect long term!

-Mason Shrout (6'0"/SG/2024/Eaton) was one of the top 7th graders at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase.  Shrout has good size for his position, is skilled and understands the game.  Shrout should be playing college hoops in a few years!

-James Jewell (6'4"/PF/2022/Louisville, KY) showed a lot of promise in the Ohio vs Kentucky all-star games. He could be another good one!

-Hakeem Griggs powered his showcase team to an undefeated run in route to an all-star game nod.  Griggs was yet another good looking prospect at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase!

-Jerry Easter Jr. (5'4"/PG/2024/Toledo) continues to build on his national reputation.  Widely considered the top PG in Ohio in his class, Easter has a national reputation as well. He supported his ranking at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase this weekend. Easter has D-I potential!

-Margo Abrams (5’7”/PG/2022/Cincinnati) played her butt off at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase this past weekend. Her standout performance garnered her MVP honors. Every time we see her she gets better! Love her intensity!

-Willie Wilson (5'7"/SG/2024/Wisconsin) and Lee Bruner IV(5'7"/PG/2024/Grosse Pointe, MI) with had break out performances at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase last weekend.  Both were very athletic, highly skilled with big upside potential!

-According to his coach, Shane Cercon e(6'0"/PG/2024/Buffalo, NY) "Can flat out go."  Already possessing national credentials before his rival, Cercone did his thing in Columbus & played his way into the all-star game. Cercone is one to watch going forward!

-Demarr Foster (5'3"/PG/2024/Lima) continues to perform at a high level on a consistent basis. A perennial all-star, Foster made yet another all-star game, at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase, while collecting MVP honors. Foster is quick, crafty and excels at get to the cup!

-Kamorea Arnold (5'7"/PG/2023/Germantown, WI) plays hard and excels at several aspects of the game.  Every time we see her play she does not disappoint.  She made another all-star game appearance at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase last weekend.  Next level potential!

-We saw some good things out of Gigi Bower (5'3/SG/2023/Powell) this past weekend. Highly skilled w/a high basketball IQ is how here showcase coach described Bower.  That's exactly what we saw!

-Tristan Williams (5'0"/SG/2026/Maple Heights) was only a 5th grader playing against older girls, but she not only handled the challenge, she played her way into the all-star game @ the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase! Her coach said, "She has a bright future ahead. Most potential."

-Kelly Ernest (5'8"/SG/203/Cincinnati) logged in an all-star performance at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase this past weekend, Described as the "Top Prospect on her team, Ernst is a big time scorer. Another one to watch down stream!

-Sparkle Leigh( 5'8"/PG/2021/Trotwood) was the #1 ranked player on her showcase team at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase & was selected as "Top Prospect." For her efforts, she got the all-star game nod. A great looking prospect!

-Shawn Foster (4'5/PG/2026/Lima) got it done at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase last week and was the #1 ranked player on his loaded team. According to his coach, Foster was a "Shooter!!! Both off the dribble and spot up." Foster also made the all-star game.
