Trotwood Duo Powers Rams

Currently sitting at 13-1 and in the middle of a 10-game winning streak, Coach Carl Blanton’s Trotwood Rams are well positioned to make a run in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) playoffs.  Having finished 2nd last year in the GWOC, Coach Blanton thinks his team is poised to win it all this time around.  “Our goal is to win at all,” said Blanton. “We’re very active, we press the whole game and we’re a pretty scrappy team,” continued Blanton.

The Rams are powered by two Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase Alums in Trey Dennis (6’1”/WF/2022) and Jamel Smith II (5’10”/SG/2022).  According to Coach Blanton, Dennis and Smith are leading the Rams in scoring with 16 and 15 points per game, respectively.  Also making major contributions for the Rams is Tymier Blanton (5’10”/PG/2022).  Smith and Dennis are both well known to us as both players have excelled at our events, have logged in all-star caliber performance and are ranked among the top 10 -15 players in the state.

We would like to wish Coach Blanton and his Rams squad luck in the upcoming playoffs and we look forward to catching Smith in action at our March 10th elite showcase.
