Braden Among Toledo’s Finest

Kendall Braden 5'2" SG 2024 Oregon
From what we’re hearing the Toledo girl’s basketball scene is vibrant and is loaded with young talent.  As an example, Kendall Braden (5’2”/SG/2024/Oregon), although only a 6th grader, has enjoyed a great deal of early success playing up against high school varsity players.  Braden’s ball skills, ability to shoot a percentage from out to the three point line and in the midrange coupled with a high basketball IQ allows this young stud to compete against older girls. Braden's talent is no secret, as BEES Spotlight recognized her as a standout at the Focus3d Holiday Clinic last year

In addition, Melvin Thomas, her AAU coach, has described Braden as a pure scorer (averages 23 ppg), great finisher and as very coachable Braden.  Also, Braden is described as a hard worker who is committed to developing her game.  She’s going to be special,” added Thomas.  We also understand that Braden is an excellent student who routinely brings home straight A’s.

In the summer, Braden runs with the very successful Toledo Focus3d 2024 program that has a 19-1 overall record and has already won four out five tournaments since the late fall.  Braden is not the only stud on Thomas’ roster, as Natiah Nelson (5’2”/SG/2024/Whitehouse), McKenzie Davis (5’6”/WF/2023/Toledo) and Taryn Devese (5’11”/Post/2023/Eastwood) all major contributed to the Focus’ success.  We look forward to catching Braden and her teammates in action at our March 10th Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase!
