Anybody who
follows the class of 2024 nationally knows that Brandon Nunez (5’2/CG/2024/Allentown, PA) is one of the top 5th
graders in the country. His play with
powerful We R1program and his standout performances at elite events around the
country confirm his talent. Playing up
in a very competitive 6th/7th grade division at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase on
Saturday, Nunez impressed on lookers and played his way into the 6th/7th
grade all-star game. Nunez is a skilled
combo guard that excels at both scoring and finding open teammates. In addition to his ball skills, Nunez has to
be guarded out to the 3-point line, as he drilled several treys during the course
of the day. In fact, in one game, Nunez
was the second leading scorer with 11 points. He also has an elite handle and plays
with a non-stop motor. It’s important to
note that his showcase coach selected Nunez as the “Most Skilled” on his
team. We plan to continue to track
Nunez’ progress over the next several years.
