Anonymous this team is for real they can beat you an so many different ways. I like how the coach have them play harder, defense, and at a faster tempo

  7. I know coach Demarco he don't mind getting up and down against Murphy Ac,QCP,or Next Level 7th grade team. This team can compete with the best of them on the 6th or 7th grade level.Robert Taylor or Jerry Watson one of you guys can make this happen, give the people what they want too see?Alot of people want too see AOR 6th grade team taste some humble pie.

  8. Take nothing away from AOR but playing up against good comp is tough. Seriously who on AOR is 6'8 and can handle E.J. Williams, who's going to box him out Jordan Mitchell? That's man strength v little boy. If you want to see where AOR stand at, tell there coach to play up at King James tournament. And that will answer all questions! Nuff Said!

    1. Playing up in King James would prove nothing, everybody already knows this team is the best 6th grade team in the United States! And quiet as kept, everybody knows if the did play up in the 7th grade division they would be a serious contender to win it! Not saying they would, but aor 6th would without a doubt be in the semifinals! As far as QCP is concerned, aor 6th would zone them up, take EJ out of the equation, and force Kane to score the ball, and make other players shoot jumpers! There would be a tremendous amount of pressure on Kane, so other ball handlers would have to step up! Could get very interesting, especially with AOR's ball movement and their ability to shoot the basketball. You cannot leave those shooters on that team open at all!

  9. AOR 6th grade parentApril 11, 2013 at 5:14 PM

Why does AOR 6th need a slice of humble pie when humble are exactly what these boys are. No coach, parent, or kid that represents this team ever talks trash, brags/boast, or disrespects any other team, or its players! The hype that surrounds this team does not come from within, it comes from people like yourself that's reading this right now, and it comes from people that have seen this team's performances! Play speaks for itself. I am an AOR 6th grade parent, and I can say with certainty that we have played several 7th and 8th grade teams, in search of a better run from Cincy to Columbus, a few we have lost to, but many we have beaten! So these 6th graders don't have anything to prove, we play them up simply to get better and to compete! They aren't afraid of losing, they just hate to lose!

  11. AOR 6th plays way too fast for QCP and I don't think Kane can handle that non stop pressure by himself for 40 minutes

  12. AOR 6th grade is awesome..keep it real it is what it is. The reason a lot of people don t ike AAU is because these tournaments go by grade and not by age...it looks like a couple of the kids may be older than the average6th grader and 1 year makes a huge difference in strength and skillset..at the end of the day anyone who allows their child to dominate against younger kids is only hurting their child...these tournaments should be more serious about comparing apples to apples if you have been held back you should be made to play your age not your grade...all of this is false if any of these kids are older than what they should be...but don't get me wrong they are great and fun to watch.

  13. Okay people please stop talking about these boys are too old.As long as AOP and AOR wac playing against one another,NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THESE boys age, grade,or held back why all THE HATING START NOW?The same boys has being playing against EACH OTHER since 2nd and 3rd grade.Every boy on AOR 6th grade team is LEGIT,if you don't believe they are PROTEST? For you can DONATE your TEAM MONEY.All AOR 6th graders our in the 6th grade, some my turn 13 before SEPTEMBER but that's THE RULE AND THEY ARE FOLLOWING THE RULES.How many other TEAMS have a MATURE TEAM.THE STATE OF OHIO SHOULD BE EMBRACING THE DREAM TEAM?Give CREDIT TOO THE PERSON WHO PUT THIS DREAM TEAM TOGETHER,STOP HATING BECAUSE YOUR SON DID NOT MAKE THE TEAM.Robert Taylor my name is Bob Ford from Columbus

  14. You want the AOR 6th grade to play up thats fine. What about the kids that are playing 7th grade that is suppose to be in the 8th grade, you are in a no win situation.AOR 6th grade coach keep doing what you are doing.I watch Jared Sullinger,Jordan Sibert,Adriean Payne,Jawan Staten,J.D Weatherspoon,Aaron Craft, Kenny Kaminski and Steve Taylor all of these boys came together in the 8th grade an DOMINANT THE AAU CIRCUIT.All these boys ARE IN COLLEGE PLAYING BASKETBALL.AOR and AOP parents I appeciate you all coming together, your sons look real good playing together.I have done my researcher on this AAU team and you guys are THE REAL DEAL.Bob Ford from Columbus

  15. E.J would not last in the game playing against AOR 6th grade team, they run too much. AOR 6th grade play too fast for QCP 7th grade team.I got to agree with what the person said, before AOR 6th grade will take the ball out of Kane hand and force somebody else to handled the ball. I watch QCP 7th grade play and AOR 6th grade play,I gave the advantage to AOR 6th grade because of QCP 7th just played 2 3 zone, you can't zone AOR 6th grade team too many shooters and too much pressure on Kane. AOR 6th grade by 15pts.My opinion don't take it personal

    1. If you want AOR 6th grade team too play up,that mean everybody would have too play up. AAU would have to change the rules. How many out state teams has boys like AOR 6th grade on there teams. I would like to know who was the brains of the AOR 6th grade team to put this DREAM TEAM TOGETHER? I don't think you could have pick a better group of boys too represent the BUCKEYE STATE. Coach Demarco and Francis keep working them boys,RESPECT IS EARNED,NOT GIVING. This is Roy Little down in the Nati.

  17. My name is Dave Thomas. Is there any other good 6th grade teams, beside aor? Why don't all you other 6th grade teams combine your teams and take down the big bad wolf (AOR 6th grade)?

  18. This mike barton.that was the whole purpose to combine and to win a national.not to be talking about my lil homie kane i know him to he dont talk he just play kane cool with these guys.that he know from the nattie.leave these good respectfull kids out of this.red and purple should combine and go win it all.because when they a.o.r. do win it all they wont say the team from the nattie or the team from columbus won it.they the out of towners gone say that team from ohio won it all.a.o.r.smash everything come yall way.and by the way young greg trimble may be the youngest on the team.and can flat out shoot

  19. Our aau team have played aor and aop however we have not played them since they have joined. AOR normally won by 5-15 PTs vs aop . We played both and had more trouble out of aop vs aor. We just matched up better I believe to reds style. We by no means are a top 2 team in the nation but we are a top 10. And we couldn't get within 15 of either. IMO with this team being combined will not b touched unless they decide to play up in 8th grade. Now they won't compete at a top 5 level in 8th grade but they could go and most cbus Cincy tournaments and walk away with 8th tourny And I would agree. Aor kids are a class act and the moms might win the national cheering section.

  22. AOR is a Good Team but if they beating teams like that why not play up it can only make them even better plus they have a bunch of players that should be the 7th grade anyway so its only right because some of the kida will be 13 soon so play up and lets see what happens. Milwaukee was a joke look at the scores

  23. AOR has players who may or may not be older but all org do QCP does too but no one is saying they should play up!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. you can not honestly say this team can compete with the good 8th grade teams such as next level king James and aor they would lose by 50+

  25. All QCP PLAYERS ARE IN THE 7th grade

  27. It seems to me that there is a point missing here. AAU rules allow for a two year window for players, which are based upon an age and grade rule. Students who are extremely intelligent and get promoted a year ahead of their classmates, should not be penalized, just as students who for one reason or another are held behind for one year, should not be penalized. If a program complies with the rules as stated by AAU, I am not quite certain why it has become a large topic of conversation - adherence to the rules should be verified and then let's move on. At the end of the day, Ohio should be boasting that it has two separate programs that are performing at a high level. It speaks volumes to the athletes that this state produces. What becomes inappropriate is that for whatever reason adults feel comfortable to speak about certain players in a negative light. As an avid basketball fan, I will close with stating congratulations to all of these young men - fast, slow, tall, short, shooter, defender or supporter on the bench. It takes a team with a dedicated program and parents behind them to achieve success each time they step on the court. Let’s celebrate and be thankful for that! I wish all programs, players and coaches continued success throughout the remainder of the season and hopefully some AAU championships will return home to Ohio.

  28. Thanks for coming on here speaking facts.Everybody is talking about the rule, because of the domination of AOR 6th grade team. Why is people keep on saying AOR 6th grade has older kids, these boys has being playing in the 2019 class since they been on the AAU circuit. You notices know teams out side of THE HATER STATE OHIO,have said AOR 6th grade has older player, because they have watch all the boys become good basketball player since 2nd and 3rd grade.I'm out John Smith from Cincinnati

  29. Will you agree that AOR have players that was held back for bball and not having trouble in school they are older then a lot of 7th graders now which means when school is out in june they should be going to the 8th grade next year I think that's what people are trying to say. So so really you have kids 2 grade older and will be 13 before june.

  30. News Flash: This is to update all the people that have not followed the class of 2019 before the Dream Team was born....... Jeremiah Francis, Jordan Mitchell, Gerald Reynolds, Jaidon Lipscomb, Morgan Stafford, DeMarco Bradley Jr, Greg Tribble Jr, Amari Davis, Malachi Matthews, Christopher Payne, and Chrisean Stringer have all played either with, or against each other since the 2nd grade! FACT! These kids either played with AOR, AOP, Cincy Lakers, or the Cincy Friars. FACT! Every year in the aau state tourney since these kids were in 2nd grade, these kids have always battled against each other for the title! FACT! The parents of these kids use to absolutely hate one another! FACT! You have never heard any other kids name's in this class being mentioned really cuz these were always the best of 2019 in the state! FACT! Now all of a sudden that the parents of these talented young men have decided to put their own personal egos aside and do what needed to be done to compete on a national level for years to come, the kids are now too old? Bcuz they destroy 6th and 7th grade teams with ease, now they are too old? Lol, hilarious! Get your kids in the gym and get off here crying! Raise your team's level of play coaches and quit crying! Do what is necessary parents to get your child additional training outside of practice if you want to be on AOR's, cause these parents are serious, and they keep their respective kid in the gym!

    1. Class of 2019 bottom line is. They meet requirements to b seniors 18 then prob turn 19 at some point their senior yr. and I'm sure some will b 18 grad day. Point is what is a old 6th grader ? If 12 turn 13 is legal then why grip ? My guess is at 5 yrs old mom dad kept them home vs sending them. So start kind at 6 vs 5. I personally started kind at 4 then turned 5 during school. To me that's worse that 6 turning 7. If u want to rush ur kids out by 16-17 to college go ahead. But don't criticize parents that chose to start kids at 6 vs 4or 5. I will take a boy or girl at 15 yr old freshman taking act vs a 13 yr old freshman taking act. Leave ball out of it. Bottom line is. The boys r better off. In the long run. IMO. Raise ur kids best u can. And do all u can for them. Period. And I'm a parent that kid got beat by aor and aop. Bring on the best as that's the only way my son will get better

    2. Sorry to tell ya them kids is the Real Deal! My son has played them since 2009 the in nationals. We go them third grade BU Alllstarz the next year Jordan grew 4-5in and Francis and a post move or two. Big boy got loose and lil daddy rain them threes. This year We D-Will Elite had em on the ropes but they proved to be to strong that morning. Coach Holla at ya boy Coach Chris Tell back up working with a Monster!

  31. Definitely "NOT A HATER" but I'm from NC and I love AOR, and I have seen them guys play together since about 3rd grade when Jordan was ranked the #1 player in that age group. Yeah, being from NC you know that this name was sure to come up.... Carolina Preps have in my opinion mirrored your same success this year. They have wins in 7-8th grade tournaments also and they are by far the GREATEST 6th GRADE TEAM IN THE STATE. I agree AOR is the best team in Ohio but to say in the nation is kinda jumping the gun when you still have the Prep still running rampant out here. I can't wait until the two collide in session #2 and I just hope to be there. This is like Jason vs. Freddy, Alien vs. Predator, they are both GREAT IN THEIR OWN RIGHT, BUT THE TWO MUST COLLIDE...
