All-Central District Honors Announced

Yesterday, the Boys Basketball: All-Central District honors (media version) were announced, and as expected, Northland's Trey Burke took home "District Player of the Year." Congrats to Trey and his family for all of the work and dedication it took to reach his gaols. Below is a complete list of the Central District selections:

All-Central District

Division I

First team; Matt Bingaya (Delaware) 6-foot-4, junior, 21.2 ppg; Trey Burke (Northland) 6-1, sr., 23.9; Traevon Jackson (Westerville South) 6-2, sr., 18.3; Brian Sullivan (Upper Arlington) 6-0, sr., 20.0; Stevie Taylor (Gahanna) 5-11, sr., 16.5. Within the next couple, the Ohio High Schools Coaches version of the award will be release.  Stay tuned.  Also, word has, Wayne's Travis Trice picked up the SW Distruct Player of the Year as well.

  3. In back to back weeks John Draper Jr. of Nova Village brought his game against top AAU Teams.

    In the Super 16 against King James, Draper scored 25 points on 5/28/2011 and on 06/04/2011 in the Ohio AAU State Tournament John Draper Jr scored 30 points against a talent loaded All Ohio-Red Team.
