Regional Camps Scheduled for February

In February, the Buckeye State will offer 2 new opportunities for elite competition and statewide exposure.  On February 21st and 22nd, Paul McMillan will host the first-ever Buckeye Prep Winter Showcase at Woodward High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The showcase will be limited to players in grades 3rd-8th who reside in the southwest area of the state.  Participation in this event will give players in the area the opportunity for local and statewide recognition and a chance to obtain an invitation to Buckeye Prep’s spring Elite Showcase in March.  Also, players will have the opportunity to be selected to the prestigious Ohio North vs South All-Star Game in March.

On the same weekend, Sonny Johnson will be hosting the inaugural NEO Youth Elite Basketball Showcase at Garfield Heights High School.  This event is also developed for players in grades 3rd-8th who reside in the northeast area of the state.  Participation in this event will also provide opportunities for participation in the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase and the Ohio North vs South All-Star Game in March.  Both events will be covered by Buckeye Prep staff.  For additional information about each event please click on the links below.

  1. Yesterday I saw Kendall Moore play against the Ponitz Panthers, he had 20 points, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. He also hit 4 three pointers out of 6 attempts. The kid has unlimited range. I would recommend people to come see him play. He plays for the Meadowdale Lions 8th grade basketball team. He is a super entertainer who has unlimited range, throws high school like dimes, and breaks ankles like there's no tomorrow. He played 8th grade basketball last year as a 7th grader. He should be ranked in the state in my opinion. I think he's underrated. Come see this kid play.
