Whitfield, Davis, Pearson, Jenkins, Williams & McGillis |
-Derek Whitfield (4'4"/PG/2026/Gahanna) is a dynamic PG who lit it up in the all-star game. Quick, skilled with the ability to go get buckets! Made case for top 5 in Ohio.
-LA Hayes (CG/2023/Cleveland) had a HUGH day at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase over the weekend. Hayes grabbed multiple MVP awards and proved to be elite with D-I potential. Love his game!
-Sole Williams (5'7"/PG/2023/Cincinnati) logged in another standout performance at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase last weekend. Every time we see her play she excels. College coaches should be paying early attention to this D-I prospect!
-Gwen Jenkins (5'0"/PG/2024?Columbus) keeps racking up MVP awards. The last time she attended our event in the spring she made the all-star game, and this past weekend she made it 2 for 2? We intend to pay more attention to her going forward. She could be a good one!
-Mike Bova (6'0"/PG/2022/Avon Lake) has continued to develop! Bova was almost unstoppable to the rim. Frame and strength allow him to Finnish with contact in the paint. Not flashy, but can get buckets! Size & athleticism will determine college level.
-Adam Duvall (6'6"/PF/2022/Beavercreek) played well at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase. Good size early with a developing skill set. Should play college basketball at some level. With continued growth and development Duvall's stock cold rise!
-Levi Davis (5'3"/PG/2026/Galena) had a breakout weekend at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase. A speedy and dynamic PG with a big upside. Easily a top 5 performance in a loaded class! We plan to keep an eye on Davis!
-Turner Buttry (5'10'/PG/2022/Bowling Green, KY) was impressive in the Ohio vs Kentucky all-star games. Crafty and skilled is Buttry. He already had a big name, but he brought his game on Saturday! Should contribute early for a varsity team!
-Bella Ward (5"11"/WF/2022/Blacklick) was one of the top 1, 2 or 3 girls at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase last weekend! Good size, aggression and skillful best describes Ward's game. Should play ball at the next level from what we saw!
-We really liked what we saw out of Athens McGillis (4'11"/SG/2026/Maineville). This kid's game is mature and beyond his years! High basketball IQ and skilled. Great change of pace and direction, with the ability and willingness to pass to open teammates. We loved his decision-making.
-Malsi Pearson (5'5"/PG/2026/Akron) caught our eye with his poise, IQ and ability to work the pick and roll game at an early age. Pearson was on the court directing teammates and leading his team. Pearson has a bright future as a floor general w/ continued growth & development.
-The class of 2026 represented BIG TIME at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase over the weekend. Could be a huge class for Ohio going forward.
-Arguably the best play at the camp, Omari Peek-Green (6’6”/SG/2019/Cincinnati) played above the rim, was unstoppable to the cup and was explosive. Should be on a college roster next year! We loved his game!
-Jack Edelen (5'7"/PG/2023/Louisville, KY) played up in the 2022 Ohio vs Kentucky all-star games and not only held his own but took home MVP honors as well. Highly skilled is Edelen. Look for this kid to get varsity minutes early in Kentucky!
