2022 All-Ohio Blue-Adidas may Classic Champions |
On Sunday, Shawn
Thigpen’s #3 ranked All-Ohio Blue team traveled to Indiana and brought back a
championship from the Adidas May Classic.
As part of their 4-0 run, All-Ohio defeated the likes of MBA Fury Elite
(61-33), Team Teague Black (60-32), Indiana Flame (58-34) and MBA Elite
(63-34). Sencere Harris played big
for All-Ohio, finishing with 26 points in the championship game. Other standouts for All-Ohio included Trey Dennis, Derrick Shepard, Adam Duvall and Shawn Thigpen. We’ve heard a lot of good things about
Harris, who has been described as one of the best players in Ohio in the class
of 2022. We hope to get a closer look at
him over the next couple of months, and certainly at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase scheduled for September 17th
and 18th. We also would like to see
All-Ohio Blue match up with All-Ohio Purple and the Toledo Wildcats at the Buckeye Prep Summer Showdown TOC June
17th-19th! Big ups to All-Ohio for repping Ohio
Basketball.
While we’re
talking about the class of 2022, #14 ranked OBC finished 3-2 in session #3 of
the NYBL. After suffering an opening (57-36) loss to Team Takeover, OBC bounced
back with a win over Kings Elite (64-48). OBC would stumble again in their
third game, going down to Hilltopper Heat (65-55) to close day one. OBC got off to a good start on Sunday with a
victory over the Lexington Hustle (59-56) and closed out the weekend with a
63-53 win over Ball4lyfe. Standouts for
OBC were Logan Woods, Jayden Coles and Justin Williams.
