Potts Pulls the Trigger for UNC Greensboro

Jordan Potts-5'10 PG

5'10 2012 PG Jordan Potts (Columbus, OH. Northland H.S.) committed to UNC-Greensboro. Potts is a solid PG that helped lead All Ohio Red to the 17 & under AAU National Championship this year. He is a great get for the UNCG staff. Potts can score and lead a team. He has really come on in the last 6 months and had a great summer this year.

6'4 2012 SF/SG Dylan Kaufman (Berlin, OH. Hiland H.S.) committed to Findlay. Kaufman is a natural wing scorer. he has put up very good numbers in high school in every year leading up to his senior season. He helped lead his team to an Ohio Division 4 state championship last year and his team should be the favorite to repeat this season.
Finally, Olentangy's Steve Walczak committed to division II Lake Erie College last week.  Congratulations to each of the above players!

  1. Congrats to both players. I have known and watched Jordan play since 8th grade. He is a temendous player and a winner. I have had the pleasure of meeting and having Steve come to my "Sunday Open Gyms" and I know he is a talented kid and very deserving. Congrats to both.

  3. What causes the intensity regarding Potts by some? Don't really see that with other players, at least not very often. ANY college scholarship at any level is an achievement. Not sure he can play at UNC-Greensboro but I'm certainly going to congratulate him and not question the coaches who want him.

  4. Congrat Jordan, Dylan, and Steven,
It is a shame that people become jealous of other success. The above comments reek of jealousy. Why does one feel the need to tear down kids? Basketball is not just about stats. Its also about the intangibles. Court awareness, decision making, selfishness, how you play down the stretch. CRUNCH TIME !!! When I watch Jordan play, this is what comes to mind. Congrats Jordan, you deserve it. You will do well at UNC-Greensboro.

  6. Somebody needs to relax...if you are a "...man..." you shouldn't be trippin' over a youngster getting a scholarship.

Relax...Rob's site isn't like Jerry's...do that over there!
