1.      Justin Fritts 6’2 Sr. WG – Mentor – Big time shooter and scorer. Lefty can light you up. Media’s Mr Basketball in Ohio

2.      Kyle Scelza 5’11 Sr. WG - Stow – Catch and shoot specialist. Can score in bunches

3.      Pierce Cumpstone 6’5 Sr. WF – Chagrin Falls Kenston – Shooter with size.

4.      Ben Galemmo 5’10 Sr. WG/PG – Cincinnati Moeller – Aggressive shooter that you can not leave open. Range to 25 feet.

5.      Jake Kretzer 6’6 Sr. WF – Waverly – Strong bodied wing is deadly to almost 30 feet.

6.      Zack Denny 6’0 Jr. WG/PG – Germantown Valley View – The state’s leading scorer has extra range.

7.      Tyler Ptacek 6’2 Jr. WG – Parma Padua – Scorer that can shoot. Really came into his own this year.

8.      Reggie McAdams 6’6 Sr. WF/WG – Elida – Athletic shooter. Great size and versatility.

9.      Joey Schmitz 5’11 So. WG - Carroll Bloom Carroll – Another catch and shoot specialist. When his feet are set…..count it.

10.  Dakota Matthias 6’2 So. WG – Elida – Up and coming shooter with a great future.

Best Defenders

1.      Orlando Berry 5’7 Sr. PG – Cincinnati Taft – Big time disruptor. Quick and tough.

2.      Adam McCall 5’10 Sr. PG – Columbus Walnut Ridge – Great on the ball defender

3.      Terrell Byrd 5’10 Sr. PG – Garfield Heights – Thief in the open court.

4.      Malik London 6’8 Sr. PF/C – Chillicothe – Big time shotblocker. Swats them like flys.

5.      Josh Lemons 5’10 Sr. PG/WG – Cincinnati LaSalle – Quick and fast defender. He can lock you up.

Best Rebounders

1.      Adolphus Washington 6’4 Sr. PF – Cincinnati Taft – 14.3rpg – A man among boys in the paint.

2.      Devon Scott 6’7 Sr. PF/C – Columbus Northland – 12.2rpg – Big, strong and athletic. Can be a monster inside.

3.      Gary Akbar 6’4 Sr. PF – Dayton Dunbar – 14.0rpg – Lefty match up problem. A man in the paint.

4.      Tony Farmer 6’6 Jr. WF/PF – Garfield Heights - 12.8rpg – Came up big in big games. Can own the paint when he wants to.

5.      Devin Williams 6’7 Jr. PF – Cincinnati Withrow – 10.7rpg – Young fella is a monster inside. A grown man already.

6.      Eric Truog 6’9 Sr. C/PF – Chagrin Falls Kenston - 12.2 – Immoveable object in the paint.

7.      Zack Garber 6’8 Jr. PF/C – Vanlue - 12.4rpg – Oak tree inside. Nice hands. Knows how to go get ‘em.

8.      Isaiah Johnson 6’8 Jr. PF/C – Cincinnati Walnut Hills - 11.9rpg – Built like an offensive tackle (and he is). When he wants the rebound he gets it.

9.      Vince Edwards 6’6 So. WF/PF – Middletown - 12.4rpg – Long and lanky but has a great nose for the ball.

10.  Austin Grimes 6’3 Jr. WG/WF – Cincinnati Aiken – 12.4ppg – Great rebounder for a wing. Quick and powerful leaper.

Top Passers

1.      Angel Rivera 5’7 So. PG – Cincinnati Hughes - 7.0apg – Understands where to put the ball and when.

2.      Orlando Berry 5’7 Sr. PG – Cincinnati Taft - 8.2apg – Pure creator. Quick.

3.      Dorian Jordan 5’6 Jr. PG – Cincinnati Princeton – 5.8apg - Pure PG can create and score when needed.

4.      Kechaun Lewis 6’3 Sr. WG/PG – Columbus Northland – 6.7apg - Has great vision. Creative passer.

5.      Elias (Boo) Osborne 6’2 Jr. WG – Columbus Centennial - 7.9apg – Solid passer. Good Bball IQ.

 

Top Dunkers

1.      Joe Ballard 6’5 Sr. WF/PF – Dayton Thurgood Marshall – Airplane Man. Best vertical in the state by far.

2.      Maurice O’Field 6’4 Jr. WF – Cleveland Heights – Athletic wing is becoming a legend with his leaping exploits.

3.      Malik London 6’8 Sr. PF/C – Chillicothe – I bet a third of his points are dunks! Loves to play around the rim.

4.      Dwayne Stanford 6’5 Sr. PF – Cincinnati Taft – Strong and powerful footballer. Has no fear in the lane.

5.      Desmond Ridenour 6’1 Sr. PG/WG – Cleveland Benedictine – Sky Walker. Very explosive.

Most Improved

1.      Caris Levert 6’4 Sr. WG – Pickerington Central – Became more aggressive and assertive. Big time shot maker. Possibly a steal for OU.

2.      Devaugntah Williams 6’2 Sr. WG – Canton McKinley – Came out of no where to be one of the best players in Northeast Ohio.

3.      D.J. Blanks 6’2 Sr. WG – Akron St. Vincent – St. Mary – Athletic wing had a very good senior season.

4.      Brandon Murphy 6’7 Sr. PF – Cincinnati Fairfield – Big fella stepped up and became a force.

5.      Josh Davenport 6’3 Jr. WG – Cincinnati Moeller – Slashing wing was very productive for Moeller.

6.      Vince Edwards 6’6 So. WF/PF – Middletown – Combo forward became one of the best sophomores in Ohio.

7.      Vitto Brown 6’7 Jr. PF – Bowling Green – Athletic 4 man has skill. He became assertive this year.

8.      Tyree Gaiter 5’4 Sr. PG – Cleveland Heights – Little man with a big heart. Can flat out play.

9.      Myles Hamilton 6’0 Sr. WG/PG – Lakewood St. Edward – A gangster on the court. Takes no prisoners.

10.  Victor Dorsey 6’7 So. PF – Akron St. Vincent – St. Mary – Skilled and talented 4 man came out of his shell some. 

Underclassmen

&Vitto Brown 6’7 Jr. PF – Bowling Green – Athletic and skilled 4 man with a great upside.

&Zac Carter 5’7 Jr. PG/WG – Ironton – Little combo guard that can shoot and score.

&Kwan Cheatum 6’8 Jr. PF/WF – Cincinnati Winton Woods – Long and tall shooter. Needs to become more of a complete player but has talent.

&Jordan Lauf 6’4 Jr. WG – Napolean – Tough and rugged wing. Nice player.

&Zach Garber 6’8 Jr. PF/C – Vanlue – Big fella gets it done in the paint.

5 Sophomores scouts know but you may not:

&Justin Bibbs 6’4 So. WG/WF – Dayton Chaminade-Julienne – Athletic wing can score. Much improved.

&Evan Bailey 6’5 So. WF/WG – Massillon Jackson – Skilled wing. Could be big time.

&Vince Edwards 6’6 So. WF/PF – Middletown – Skilled combo forward. Really come on this year.

&Victor Dorsey 6’7 So. PF – Akron St. Vincent – St. Mary – 4 man with skill.

&Peyton Aldridge 6’6 So. PF – Leavittsburg LaBrae – Another skilled 4. Can step out and shoot.
