Paul McMillan IV Turning Heads

Paul McMillan IV-2022 CG
We’ve seen him ballin for several years now, but he’s just starting to get the national attention he deserves.  Paul McMillan IV (6’0/CG/2021/Cincinnati) is lighting it up for his father’s 2021 All-Ohio Red squad.  McMillan is a stud on a loaded All-Ohio team and is easily the best player on the roster.  McMillan has all the tools necessary to project as a high major D-I player.  McMillan has been a perianal all-star at our Buckeye Prep Elite Showcases for several years and we selected him as First Team All-Ohio last season, so it comes as no surprise that people are starting to take notice of his talent.

McMillan already has good size and can play the point or slide over to the 2 spot.  He’s strong and knows how to use his size and strength to get to the cup and finish through contact.  He handles the ball well and excels as creating space.  He also shoots it well off the bounce and in catch and shoot situations.  McMillan can shoot it from deep, stop and pop in the paint, hit you with a floater or lay it up at the rim.  McMillan is not only an elite scorer; he’s a great playmaker, an on ball defender and has a high IQ.  Once he gets up a head of steam in transition, it’s a bucket.  McMillan also plays with great pace and poise and always seems to make the right play. The son of a high school coach and former college player, McMillan knows what he’s doing on the court.

We last saw him in April at our Buckeye Prep Invitational Tournament where he led his All-Ohio Red team to a championship, while also taking home MVP honors.  The newly released D-Rich video below clearly displays McMillan’s talent.  To my follow scouts out there; show this kid some more love and move him up your lists.  To the college coaches who regularly visit this site, we suggest you track this kid’s progress; he’s going to be a good one!
